(Yahoo!) - It's been a busy week for Robin Thicke. The R&B singer's hit single, "Blurred Lines," reached #1 on the Billboard charts -- a first for the dapper crooner. He then celebrated the milestone by appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" doing a spoof of the song's sexy video.
The hilarious remake also features Pharrell, who sings on the tune, as well as the late-night ABC talk show host and his sidekick Guillermo. The Kimmel version was decidedly less sexy but much funnier than the original, and featured Kimmel and Guillermo dancing awkwardly alongside Thicke and Pharrell.
Kimmel is dressed in a sharp black suit identical to Thicke's, and tries to hone in on the action as gorgeous models dance around the singers, but to no avail. Meanwhile Guillermo, dressed in a flashy gold body suit like Pharrell's, busts out some impressive dance moves. The awkward duo repeatedly try to push their way into the frame, progressively annoying Thicke and Pharrell, until Pharrell eventually breaks a chair over Kimmel's head, and Guillermo looks on as Kimmel falls to the floor and he just continues to dance. See for yourself below.
On Wednesday, Thicke and Pharrell performed at the star-studded party for the relaunch of Myspace at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Toward the end of their "Blurred Lines" performance, they were joined on stage byMiley Cyrus, much to the delight of the crowd. Clad in a black leather bikini top and baggy jeans, the former Hannah Montana star danced and sang along as the crowd, which reportedly included Myspace co-owner Justin Timberlake, cheered and clapped.
On Friday, Thicke announced that his sixth studio album, featuring "Blurred Lines," will be released on July 30. Whew! We bet he's ready for the weekend.
